Department Overview
The Hermiston School District's Operations Department is dedicated to maintaining and managing our school facilities and ensuring they serve both the educational and community needs. This department oversees the use of school buildings and grounds for community events, manages custodial services, maintenance, and warehouse operations. Additionally, the Operations Department collaborates with First Student Busing Company to coordinate school transportation and leads the district’s safety and security initiatives.
Community groups will be permitted and encouraged to use district facilities for worthwhile purposes when such uses do not interfere with district programs in accordance with policies established by the Board of Education.
