The following students will attend Rocky Heights for summer program:

  • West Park Elementary Students
  • Desert View Elementary Students
  • Rocky Heights Elementary Students

The following schools will attend Loma Vista for summer program:

  • Highland Hills Elementary Students
  • Sunset Elementary Students
  • Loma Vista Elementary Students

 

Your child will enjoy a well-rounded experience that includes STEM exploration, creative arts activities, interactive games, and outdoor adventures. Give your child the opportunity to build friendships, make lasting memories, and build a valuable background for future academics. Additional information can be found on the registration form.

 

*ALL STUDENTS MUST BE REGISTERED IN SUMMER PROGRAM TO ENROLL IN CHAMPIONS. AFTER REGISTERING IN SUMMER PROGRAM, CHAMPIONS WILL REACH OUT TO YOU WITH FURHTER INFORMATION.

Middle School Summer Program at Armand Larive

The following students will attend ALMS for summer program:

  • Armand Larive Middle School Students

 

Join us for an exciting 3-week Summer Program from June 16 – July 3! Whether you're an incoming 6th grader getting a head start or a 7th & 8th grader looking to strengthen skills, this program is designed to help students explore, create, and get ahead while having fun with hands-on learning!

Join us for a fun-filled Kinder Camp from July 21 – August 1! Designed for incoming kindergarteners, this two-week program helps little learners build confidence, make new friends, and get a head start on school readiness. With a full day of enriching activities from 6:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Kinder Camp offers the perfect blend of early learning and playful discovery.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • When registering for the summer program, you will be asked to indicate how your child will be dropped off and picked up. If your child requires bus transportation, please be sure to check the appropriate box to request this service

  • Parents can only enroll in Champions if their student is registered for the summer program. A link to the Champions website will be provided within the registration form for easy access.

  • If you miss the registration deadline, your child will be added to the waitlist. During the first two weeks of the program, once attendance is confirmed, coordinators will reach out to families on the waitlist if additional spots become available.

  • No, the program is for students who are enrolled in the Hermiston School District during the 24-25 school year 

  • 6:30 am - 6:30 pm  
    Champions full day: June 16-June 20
    Champions w/ summer program: June 23-August 1 
    Champions full day: August 4-August 22

  • The link for registration is in the Summer Program registration- they must be registered for a summer program to do Champions. 
    They have to make a parent portal with Champions in order to register for the program. 
     

  • When the program attendance is established within the first week or two, coordinators will reach out to families on the waitlist to join the program if there is room. 

  • Champions full day: June 16-June 20

    **The 4th of July is the only day OFF 

  • Yes, we hope that students will be at the program as much as possible to get the most out of it though! 
     

  • When they registered they got a copy of their responses from the form emailed to the email that they used to register. Help them find this email to ensure that they are registered. 
    If they can’t find this email you can verify that they are registered here

  • No, there will be a quote provided on their website. This is a part of their system but you should not see a bill for Champions It is district-funded as a part of the summer program.
