Exclusion Day – February 19

By |01/24/2014 10:06:07|

The Oregon Immunization Program would like parents to know that children with missing immunizations will not be able to attend school as of Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Parents of adolescents grades 7 – 12, must have the TDAP (tetanus shot). The Hepatitis A vaccine is required for students kindergarten through fifth grades.
If your child needs these immunizations, the local public health department, on 4th Street in Hermiston, will be open on Saturday, February 15, from 10 am until 2 pm. You may also contact your health care provider. If you have any questions, please contact the health department at 541-567-3113, Oregon SafeNet at 1-800-723-3638, or visit the web site at www.healthoregon.org/imm.
If your child does not have the required immunizations by February 19, you will be contacted to take your child home until you complete the required immunizations.
