Performances are scheduled for November 3, 4, 10 and 11 at 7 p.m. in the high school’s auditorium. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the high school’s bookkeeping office. Tickets are $5 for students, $10 for adults, and $8 for senior citizens 65 years and older with ID.

The play is about an aging king of a magical kingdom who decides to split his empire between his three daughters: Cinderella, Belle and the Snow Queen (who does NOT resemble a copyrighted character). Terrible tragedy ensues—terrible, hilarious tragedy. A parody of the gut-wrenching plot twists in the popular television series and the goofiness of Disney characters, this adaptation of King Lear will leave you dying with laughter as the body count mounts. It’s happily ever laughter . . . psych!

More than 40 students are participating in this comedy. Dr. Beth Anderson, the theater director, attributes the high student turn out to the comical script. “Students were laughing while reading the very first page of the script, so I think our audience will find it hilarious.”

With laughs galore and a special appearance by HHS Science teacher Zyan Silver, Game of Tiaras is a must-see show!
