Armand Larive Middle School was recently notified by the Umatilla County Cultural Coalition that its choir program was selected to win a cash award of $770. The funds will cover the ticket costs for 50 students to see Restless Vocal Band, who will perform April 15, at Hermiston High School, as part of Desert Arts Council spring lineup.

“The kids and I are so grateful to Umatilla County Cultural Coalition for their generous grant,” said Music Teacher, Brooke Baker. “This gives kids the unique opportunity to see high caliber performances they many never get to have again. The award is the second grant we have received from Umatilla County Cultural Coalition. They have been an amazing support for students’ exposure to the arts.”
